- 1 cup dried dates;
- 1 cup dried pineapple (finely chopped);
- 1 1/2 cup coconut;
- 2 cups of Indian tree nuts;
- 2 tablespoons vanilla;
- 8 tsp turmeric;
Mix all ingredients in a blender, keeping only 1/2 cup coconut. With wet hands, from the homogenous mixture, make small balls or divide the mixture into 4 equal parts and make rectangular blocks. Smear with the rest of the coconut and place in the refrigerator to solidify.
