Some Myths and Truths about Weight Loss

All people today have to say at least one healthy advice and there are there are many options about what you should eat, when to eat and how to eat. However, some recommendations may sound suspiciously, so before you decide to try and to inflict more harm than good; it would be good to open our eyes to these 15 myths.

–       You are allowed to drink infinitely number of fresh fruit juices. –       During the day you shouldn’t drink more than 3 cups of fresh drained juice.
–       The chocolate put on weight. –       Cube dark chocolate can help you to improve your look.
–       You should drink 6 to 8 glasses of water a day. –       You should drink water as much as you organism require.
–       Olive oil has lower calories. –       Olive oil has the same amount of calories as any other oil, but is healthier.
–       Brown sugar is healthier than white. –       Starting from the fact that they both contain same amount of calories, there is not big difference.
–       You can eat whatever you want and how much you want for breakfast. –       The ideal breakfast contains protein, fat, carbohydrates and fiber.
–       The fruit is equally healthy as vegetables. –       Vegetables are healthier. During the day you should have 1 serving of fruit versus 4 servings of vegetables.
–       Do not eat after 6 pm. –       You should not eat large meals 3-4 hours before going to bed.
–       The sushi is a healthy food. –       All types of sushi and soy sauces contain lots of calories.
–       If you eat less, you lose weight easily. –       Only people who eat 5-6 healthy meals a day can lose weight.
–       Eating fats is prohibited. –       Only large amounts of saturated fats are bad for health and weight.
–       Carbohydrate intake is unhealthy habit. –       Just simple carbohydrates are bad. complex carbohydrates are healthy.
–       The fruit is the best dessert. –       It is better to eat fruit as a snack.
–       Calories are only draining through exercise. –       You will drain your calories only if you satisfy the necessary needs of the body without forcing it.
–       Black bread is healthier than white. –       The amount of calories in both types of bread is almost identical.
