Learn and eat colored food
Eating food with different colors not only that it’s fun, but it is very beneficial for your kids. Help your kids to understand and learn the nutrition power of the colorful foods including fruits and vegetables – from red, orange and blue to green, white and yellow, putting them into their diet.
Never skip Breakfast
Teach your kids that a low-fat breakfast not only fill their energy, but prevents some chronic diseases and maintain their weight. Also, breakfast with high fiber cereals can help reduce the risk of diabetes and heart disease.
Drink water instead of soda
Water is healthy for your children and because of that, they must replace the soft drinks like soda (who has a lot of sugar and its bad for yours children health) with natural or mineral water (a vital resource that humans can’t live without). Teach your children how unhealthy soda can be.
Never be a Couch Potato
Parents must never let their children to stay too much in front of their computers or to watch too much TV. Kids who watch too much TV or spend too much time on their computers (an hour or two), are at great risk for number of health problems for example: (Less time to play, impaired performance at school, irregular sleep that include resisting bedtime or trouble falling asleep, obesity or being overweight and etc.)
Make reading habit
Reading skills are essential for your kid’s success in school or at work later. Daily reading can help your kid to develop faster. According to the American Pediatrics, suggest that children should begin reading from their six months of age.
